The challenge
In 2020, our team at Lexia® was faced with the challenge of creating materials to support educators who were teaching students to read in a remote environment. How could we transform an existing library of paper-based lessons into engaging, interactive digital experiences?

Design Process
When the need arose to digitize a library of paper-based lessons, we faced the challenge of making them both interactive and easy to produce at scale. After research and user feedback, we chose slide decks as the delivery method.
Leading the design process with consult from curriculum writers, I developed animations, prototyped styles, and created a modular system. This approach not only preserved the Lexia Core5® Reading brand but also empowered curriculum, design, and even project management teams to quickly build lessons, speeding up production and enabling the translation of hundreds of lessons to be released in monthly increments.
